The Facility Roadmap — Setting a Course for Success

If you have ever perused the Ground Rule website, or seen our company’s posts on LinkedIn (thank you, loyal friends, colleagues, peers and clients), it is apparent that we like to commence any sports facility development project with a Feasibility Study.

This detailed, data-driven evaluation of your vision is the foundation of any successful client engagement.  However, we are aware that not all prospective clients are ready to pursue a full report - at least not right away.

This is where the Facility Roadmap comes in.

The expert team at TAG Project Management can provide you with a Facility Roadmap, a high-level project overview that includes the following, in a condensed timeline and at a lower barrier to entry:

  • Sport-Specific Trends

  • Market Analysis

  • Programming & Growth

  • Key Points of Contact

  • Courts & Equipment

  • Construction Plan

  • Construction Timeline

  • Cost Estimates

  • Next Steps

TAG takes pride in meeting clients where they are.

The Facility Roadmap is a useful tool that allows us to do so. If you decide to take the high-level information provided and embark on the facility development journey solo, we will cheer you on! However, we know how much time and effort it takes to navigate the complexities of local government approvals, vendor management and the host of responsibilities this type of work entails.

Most often, upon delivery and presentation of the Facility Roadmap, our clients will decide to move forward with the full Feasibility Study. We value our clients as much more than that –  we see ourselves in your shoes. Therefore, rather than charging you for the full Feasibility Study, the cost of the Facility Roadmap is netted out. We do not play games with your dreams. Paying more for taking incremental steps, rather than jumping in with both feet, is wrong.

The expert team at TAG Project Management applies our same tried-and-true process to each of our deliverables, including the Facility Roadmap. While providing more of a 30,000 foot view of the project landscape, rather than the granular detail of a Feasibility Study, our team will orient you in the right direction.

No matter if you are fitting out a leased retail space for pickleball in Maine or building a ground-up multi-sport complex in California, we have insights and experience from coast-to-coast.

From who to speak to in your local economic development office to rough-order-of-magnitude cost expectations in your market, this information will set the project course.

Please note that, unlike our Feasibility Study, the Facility Roadmap does not satisfy all requirements for Small Business Administration (SBA) funding.
